The Humanities Department at Teresa Nuzzo Girls Secondary School helps students understand people, places, culture, faith, and history. It covers History, Geography, and Christian Religious Education (CRE), subjects that shape learners into informed, responsible, and value-driven members of society.

Teaching and Learning Approach

We use interactive teaching methods such as discussions, debates, case studies, fieldwork, and research projects. Learners are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and apply knowledge to real-world challenges.

Facilities and Resources

  • Access to maps, charts, and digital tools for Geography studies.

  • Use of historical documents, literature, and case studies in History.

  • A vibrant spiritual program to strengthen faith and values in CRE.

Beyond the Classroom

Students expand their horizons by:
